When was India’s first mobile court established?
Haryana holds the distinction of the state to receive India’s first ever mobile court in 2007. mobile court was established not as just another Lok Adalat but a full-fledged court on wheels and the litigants would be able to appeal against its judgment in the District Court. The endeavour is to take administration of civil and criminal justice closer to the people, especially those living in remote areas. The mobile court was inaugurated at Indana village in the Punhana block.
